What a rear bumper design needs from a file
A rear bumper bolts to the rear of the frame rails or the rear crossmember, so the file has to show the rail ends and the factory bumper and hitch mounts. The bar must clear the tailgate or rear door as it opens, the tail lights, the exhaust and the spare wheel, and keep the departure angle. For a swing-out carrier the hinge needs a solid point on the frame.
