DIY build plans

Fabrication plans you can cut and build yourself: DXF files for every flat part, a STEP model of the design and a PDF build guide with a cut list. We design each plan in CAD on a measured 3D scan of the vehicle, so it is drawn around the real truck.

The scans are still here for anyone designing their own parts: browse them by vehicle. The plans are for builders who want a finished design. More plans are in design on our scans; if you want one for your vehicle, tell us the vehicle and the part.

About the plans

What is in a plan?

DXF files of every flat part, ready for a laser or plasma cutter, a STEP model of the assembled design for your CAD, and PDF drawings with a build guide and cut list. Each product page lists the exact files.

How are the plans designed?

They are our own designs, drawn in CAD around a measured 3D scan of the vehicle, so mounting points and clearances come from the real truck rather than from photos.

What do I need to build one?

A laser or plasma cutting shop for the DXF parts, and someone who can bend and weld steel. Check the mounting points on your own vehicle before you cut anything.

Do the plans state a load or tow rating?

No. We do not publish load, tow or impact ratings for a design we have not tested as a built part; the builder is responsible for the material, the welds and the fit.
