CadGaragePro 3D scans of trucks and 4x4s · 1:1 · mm

How we check every file

Every CadGaragePro scan is captured from a real vehicle and sold at 1:1 scale. A geometry inspector reads each scan file, counts its triangles, measures its size and checks its units; those numbers are what you see on the product pages. Most files are in millimeters; a file in inches or centimeters says so, and a file not measured yet says so.

How every file is checked

  • Triangle and vertex counts are read from the file itself. Across our 54 scan files the middle value is 20.1 million triangles.
  • The overall size is measured and the file's unit (millimeters, centimeters or inches) is confirmed before it is published (20 files confirmed so far). Sizes are shown in millimeters, and a page whose file is in inches or centimeters tells you how to import it at 1:1. A size is never shown when the unit could not be confirmed.
  • Each file in a download is listed with what it covers and its own measured extent, so you know what you get before you buy.
  • What a scan covers, and what it does not (for example wheels, doors or the frame), is written on the product page.
  • The images are renders of the included file, not photos of a finished build or of a different vehicle. Fabrication plans also show drawing sheets and the parts list from the download, and a render that shows the part on one of our vehicle models names that model.
