Codes: PX3-based. Also called: Ranger Raptor (2018-2022).

How to tell it apart: PX-shape Ranger with big FORD lettering in a blacked-out grille, much wider flared arches and 285/70 R17 BF Goodrich tyres; the diesel-only Raptor before the 2022 V6 model.

  • United States: The US Ranger of 2019-2023 had no Raptor; the first US Ranger Raptor is the 2024 Next-Gen.
  • Europe and the UK: European debut at Gamescom, Cologne, August 2018.
  • South Africa: Built at Ford's Silverton plant, Pretoria. Launch price R786,400.
  • Middle East: Ford Authority (Dec 2022) says the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor completed the region's Raptor trio 'for the very first time'; not proof either way for gen 1.

  • United States: Built at Michigan Assembly Plant, Wayne. This is also when the Next-Gen Ranger replaced the PX3-based US Ranger sold 2019-2023 (US addition for the existing Ranger guide).
  • Europe and the UK: Petrol V6 at launch.
  • South Africa: Fully imported from Thailand (standard Ranger is built in Silverton). Launch price R1,094,900.
