Codes: DS. Also called: Dodge Ram 1500 (to 2010), Ram 1500 Classic (2019-2024), Ram 1500 Express/Warlock (Australia).

How to tell it apart: Big-rig style crosshair grille with drooping fender line and separate headlight pods; 2013 on has projector headlights and LED turn signals; Classic keeps this body.

  • MY2013 update (5 Apr 2012): Completely new front end and grille, quad-projector headlights, LED front turn signals and tail lights; 8-speed auto and Pentastar V6 (AutoGuide 5 Apr 2012).

How to tell it apart: Smoother body with a big grille carrying large RAM letters (no crosshair) and slim headlights; MY2025 has narrower lamps and a bigger grille.

  • MY2025 refresh (2025 model year): Larger grille with RAM letters set higher, narrower LED headlights, redesigned tail lights, RAM text mid-tailgate; Hemi replaced by 3.0 Hurricane I6 (Moparinsiders 23 Feb 2024). Hemi returned for 2026 (Wikipedia).
