Codes: GMT T1XX, T1. Also called: Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (twin).

How to tell it apart: Squared-off GMC with a big rectangular grille and C-shaped LED lamps; MY2022 refresh has slimmer lamps and a grille that wraps into a curvier bumper, plus a console shifter.

  • MY2022 refresh (21 Oct 2021): Redesigned grille blended into a curvier front, new LED headlights with less pronounced C-shaped DRLs, revised bumper with discreet fog lights; new AT4X and Denali Ultimate (Carscoops 21 Oct 2021).
  • Sierra 1500 Limited (2022 model year): Pre-refresh body sold as a stopgap 'Limited' early in MY2022 (Wikipedia).

  • Australia: Wikipedia says an AU/NZ Sierra 1500 launch was planned for Q3 2024; Chasing Cars (Sept 2022) said Sierra was not offered. Not confirmed.
  • United States: T1 1500 production began July 2018, customer sales from August 2018 (Wikipedia, for Silverado/Sierra platform). GMC press quotes in search results say Sierra Denali and SLT on sale fall 2018 (pages returned 403). Regular, Double and Crew Cab.
  • Europe and the UK: Not confirmed.
  • South Africa: Not confirmed.
  • Thailand: Not confirmed.

Not confirmed: US launch timing for the Sierra specifically (fall 2018) is from search snippets of Autoblog/GM Authority; both pages returned 403. Wikipedia's July/August 2018 dates are worded for the Silverado.; Australian availability unresolved..
