200 Series (2007-2021)
Codes: J200, UZJ200 (4.7 V8 petrol), URJ200/URJ202 (5.7/4.6 petrol, market-specific, unverified), VDJ200 (4.5 V8 twin-turbo diesel). Also called: Land Cruiser V8 (UK), Lexus LX 570.
How to tell it apart: Large, rounded flagship wagon; 2007-2012 has a plain grille and round-cornered headlights, 2012-2015 a revised grille and bumpers, and 2015-2021 a big three-bar grille running into slimmer headlights.
- 2012 facelift (Series II) (Revealed Detroit Jan 2012; AU on sale Mar 2012 (GoAuto); UK 1 Mar 2012 (Wikipedia); US 2013 MY): Redesigned grille and bumpers, larger mudguards, new 18-inch alloys, reshaped mirrors and tail-light lenses; HID headlights with LED DRLs on US cars.
- 2015 facelift (Japan Aug 2015 (Wikipedia); AU mid-Oct 2015 (GoAuto); US 2016 MY, shown Sep 2015): New front: three-bar grille, narrower headlamps, new bumper, bonnet and front guards; LED tail-lights.
