Measured from our scans
Overall size of the file, as measured: 1,708 × 1,317 × 876 mm (67.2 × 51.9 × 34.5 in).
From this scan we can also measure, for example:
- Frame-rail outer width and the spacing of the rails
- Bumper mount points and bolt spacing on the frame ends
- The grille, headlight and bonnet edges a bull bar has to clear
We do not print every figure here. Ask us for the measurements you need and we take them from the scan for you, usually the same day; every one of them is in the file itself once you have it.
What it is for
- Front bumpers and bull bars
- Winch mounts and skid plates
- Fitment checks before you cut metal

What is in the download?
One dense 3D scan (about 18 million triangles) of the front of a 6th generation Toyota Hilux (1997) with the bumper, grille and headlights off: bonnet, front fenders, radiator support, crash beam and frame horns.
-
Is this a real 3D scan?
Yes. It is a 3D scan of a real vehicle, exported as an STL mesh in millimetres at 1:1. Scan meshes have open edges where the scanner could not see.
-
What can I design on it?
Front bumpers, bull bars, winch mounts and headlight or grille conversions: everything in front of the radiator support is open.
-
Can I see the mounting area?
Yes. With the bumper, grille and lights off you see the radiator support, the crash beam and the frame horns from the front and below. Some areas are only partly scanned.
-
Which Hilux is it?
Vehicle: Toyota Hilux, 6th generation (N140 / N150 / N160 / N170), scanned on a 1997. The front changed with the 2001 facelift, so compare the images with your vehicle.
