Ford Bronco 4-Door 3D Scan for CAD: What It Covers
The Bronco 4-door scan is the body, front doors and dashboard of a 2021 First Edition, scanned with the rear doors, the hardtop roof panels and the seats out. It is a strong base for tube doors, dash and console parts, roll bar and roof rail accessories and the front clip around the grille, but it has no wheels, axles or frame, so frame-mounted parts need the truck's own frame measured.

What is in the Bronco scan?
One STL of a 2021 Ford Bronco 4-door First Edition, in millimetres at 1:1: 20,102,676 triangles, about 1 GB. The truck was scanned with the rear doors, the hardtop roof panels and the seats removed; the front doors are on.
| Included | Not included |
|---|---|
| Front clip: bumper, grille, headlights, hood, fenders | Wheels and tires |
| Body sides, rear quarters and tailgate | Axles and frame (the scan stops at the floor pan and rockers) |
| Roll bar and roof rails, front doors | The rear doors |
| Cabin: dashboard, steering column, centre console, front door trims, floor with the seat mounts | The hardtop roof panels and the seats |
The measured extent is 4,812 × 2,203 × 1,360 mm (189.4 × 86.7 × 53.5 in). The length matches the 189.4 in published for the 2021 four-door. The height is only 1,360 mm because the wheels and frame are not in the file, so do not use it as the truck’s ride height.
The body is shared by the 2021-2024 four-door trims (Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Wildtrak, Badlands, First Edition), but bumpers, flares and grilles differ by trim and package. Compare the front clip in the images with your truck.
What can you design with it?
Interior accessories. The dashboard, centre console, front door trims and the floor with the seat mounts are in the mesh (the seats are not), so phone and radio mounts, console organisers and floor or cargo-area fittings can be drawn against the real surfaces.
Roll bar and roof rail accessories. With the roof panels off, the roll bar and the roof rails are fully exposed: grab handles, light mounts, soft-top or net attachments, and the base of a roof rack that clamps to the rails.
Front clip work. The bumper, grille, headlights and fenders give the outer shape a new bumper or bull bar must follow and clear. The bumper’s mounting points are on the frame, which is not in this scan; measure the frame horns on the truck and add them to your model.
Rock sliders and steps. The rockers are in the mesh, so the slider’s outer line and its clearance to the body can be drawn. The frame mounts are not; measure them on the truck.
What do you still measure on the truck?
- Frame horn faces and bolt holes for a front or rear bumper
- Frame mounting points for sliders
- Ride height and tire size, since there are no wheels in the file
- Door and roof panel fit, if your part touches them
How do you set it up in CAD?
Insert the STL in millimetres and check the length: 4,812 mm. Crop to the area you work on (the front clip, the cabin or the roll bar) before you start sectioning; a 1 GB mesh is slow to section whole. The how to use 3D scans in CAD guide shows the import, crop and section steps in Fusion and Blender.
The scan and its full list of contents are on the Ford Bronco 4-door product page and the Bronco vehicle page.
How do you buy the Bronco scan?
